This express class emphasize preparation for natural childbirth, informed decision making, and joyful parenting. Families planning home or hospital births are welcome. Classes are small, fun and informative and will provide you will tools to increase you success for a natural birth.

As a rsult of many studies, pregnant women have evidence that weekly acupuncture treatment in the four weeks prior to birth reduces the liklihood of induction and increases the chance of healthy vaginal births. Acupuncture treats for any imbalances in the organ systems according to Chinese medicine, as well as help the baby to engage if need be, starts to ripen the cervix, relax muscles and tendons and calm the mind and spirit.

Tuesdays
New Parents Circle from 1-3pm, Drop-In Free (Our New Parents Circle is open to all parents no matter where or with whom they birthed or if they have recently adopted a baby. This group is for new mothers until their babies started crawling -- typically 6-8 months. You are welcome to join the group at any time.)
Pregnancy 101: Know Your Options (1st Tuesday only) 6-7pm, Drop-In Free (Intended for exepecting parents before they have taken Childbirth Education.)
Birth/Parenting Film Series (1st Tuesday only) 7:15pm, Drop-In Free
NEW! Positive Discipline Group (2nd Tuesday only) 9:30-11am, Drop-In Free (This group is geared toward positive discipline for toddlers and young children but anyone interested in this model is encouraged to attend.)

*Some groups have a sliding fee because they have a paid facilitator who runs the group - providing oversight, structure, topics of interest and guidance. If you cannot afford the lowest cost option, please contact Cradle for a possible scholarship.
