FREE Drop-In Assessments: Every Monday Nicole Stevens, an LICSW who specializes in perinatal and postpartum adjustment issues, is available for short drop-in emotional wellness sessions. No registration is required for these visits which are designed to be a non-judgmental sounding board to assist women in finding resources and taking steps towards feeling more sane and secure in pregnancy or new motherhood.
Me, Myself to Mommy is a 6-week class/group focused on cognitive behavioral strategies and solution focus techniques to help woman challenged by the transition to motherhood. This group is kept intentional small and led by Nicole.
Additionally, Cradle offers programs like Mama-logues, a group designed to assist women in using the creative writing process to blog or journal for both pleasure and as an outlet for dealing with the stresses of new parenthood and Bounce Back with Baby which combines postpartum mom/baby exercise with practical tips, lots of compassion and fair amount of humor from an instructor/mom who honors both the light and the dark sides of motherhood.
All our mom/baby groups are facilitated by caring and knowledgeable women who are there to support women wherever they are on their parenting journey and are staff is available to connect you to local resources for additional support.
