Intuitively, women know how to give birth. In this 3 part class, birthing women and their companion(if applicable) learn self hypnosis techniques that are used before, during and after their labor and birth to promote relaxation and a calm environment. Deep relaxation allows the birthing woman and her companion to move through the birthing journey more comfortably and with greater self confidence. Reflecting on the importance and value of their relationship - how they work together-is an integral part of understanding how they work together at their birth.

Queer Non-Gestational Parent Group
The Queer Non-Gestational Parents (NGP) Group aims to provide a welcoming, supportive space for sharing the unique experiences and needs of queer NGPs. This group will be geared towards “new” parents (those with children up to 2 years) and will be an informal, unstructured dialogue/support group in which parents can come together to connect, share resources and discuss the difficulties and joys of being a non-gestational parent.
This group is being formed by two queer non-gestational parents who realized the dynamic, complicated, and unique needs and experiences of non-gestational parents and wanted to create a space which focused on our experiences which are often distinct from traditional groups for new mothers and fathers. Children are welcome!
