Tanya Lieberman, IBCLC
Tanya Leiberman is a Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and host of the Motherwear Breastfeeding Blog. Though she is a California native, she lives with her husband and son in Western Massachusetts.
In addition to writing, research and political activism regarding women's breastfeeding rights, Tanya works at a several hospitals providing breastfeeding support and education. When not busy with these things, you can find her at home with her son when he's not at preschool.
Before becoming a lactation consultant she worked in education policy as senior education policy staff to the California Senate and Governor. She also served with the United Nations as an organizer of elections in peacekeeping missions in Cambodia, Bosnia, and South Africa.
